Cyber security seminar with international expert Shaun Reardon

We have the pleasure of arranging an exciting seminar on cyber security in TA-I. It will take place on Thursday 10 March at 8.00-11.00 at Pirsenteret (Trondheim, Norway). Breakfast will be served between 8.00-8.30.

The main speaker is Shaun Reardon. Shaun Reardon is the customer success director and a principal cyber-security consultant at DNV. Based in Trondheim but operating globally he assists clients to assess their vulnerabilities, mitigate their risks and strengthen their cyber defences.

He has enjoyed a long career in cyber-security both in the public and commercial sectors. For over 26 years he was a detective officer at Scotland Yard in London where he specialised in cyber-security and served on units such as counter-terrorism, International organised crime, economic and intelligence. In the commercial world he has experience in sectors including renewables, energy, maritime, manufacturing, entertainment and oil & gas.

His presentation will explore the various components of cyber-security ranging from risk and vulnerability assessments through design and process reviews to testing, audit and continuous improvement. This is a non-technical presentation but he will be available to answer more detailed questions about a range of these topics.

The seminar will be arranged for the participants of the corporate network TA-I (managed by the UT Project and Safebase), but relevant companies can be invited. Send us a message if you are interested in participation.
